Bayern Munich sign Serdar Tasci on loan
Bayern Munich have signed Serdar Tasci on loan from Spartak Moscow until the end of the season, the Bundesliga club have announced.
Injuries to Jerome Boateng and Javi Martinez left the Bundesliga leaders light on numbers at the back and centre-back Tasci has therefore been recruited on an initial loan deal.
“We’re delighted at the opportunity to bring a player like Serdar Tasci to FC Bayern at short notice”, he stated. “Thanks to his quality and experience, he’s in a position to help us at once”.
Tasci, who is capped by the German national team, moved to Spartak in 2013 and initially forced his way into the first-team at the Russian club before struggling with injuries and changes in the playing staff.

Bayern Munich have strengthened their defence with Serdar Tasci from Spartak Moscow after losing Jerome Boateng to injury. “I hope I can be of assistance to the team”, added Tasci.
And a return to the Bundesliga will also put him back on the radar of Germany’s head coach Joachim Loew, following a five year absence, with the European championships now five months away.
