Sony Xperia Z5 tipped to supersize its screen
Sony Xperia T4 Ultra has a code name of Sony Lavender. It is not surprising for Sony to launch more than one flagship handset in a single year.
The recently leaked image linking the highly anticipated upcoming James Bond movie “Spectre” with the Sony’s equally anticipated flagship smartphone has been making its rounds on the Internet these past few days. “Spectre” might feature the new smartphone several times, and the device might actually launch with the film.
This would point to a late October or early November launch for the Xperia Z5.
Spectre will be the 24th 007 James Bond film. In “Skyfall”, Craig was spotted using the Sony Xperia T. He might be holding the latest Sony handset for a sum of $5 million. It may have a resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a pixel density of 401ppi.
The Xperia Z5 is also expected to sport a 20.7MP for its main or rear camera and 8MP for the front-facing camera.
The phone will run Android Lollipop 5.0 upon launch and is believed to be set for an announcement sometime in the near future. The two are codenamed Xperia E6603 and E5803 respectively.
According to the leak, the user guide reveals some image and couple of the specs of the phone. The smartphones’ specifications are still pretty much speculation with most saying that the new units will come with the same Snapdragon 810 CPU, while others say that the new Z lineups will feature the yet-to-be-released Snapdragon 820 chipset.
Also, the Sony Xperia Z5 is speculated to come with a powerful 21-megapixel rear camera along with a fingerprint scanning technology. Sony has not confirmed yet whether this is a global release or for certain regions only.
