Robinson to Panthers: Don’t do what I did at Super Bowl
Robinson, the 16-year National Football League veteran who is now the Carolina Panthers’ radio analyst, recently told the team’s players in what Robinson called “painful, heartbreaking” detail about his arrest for soliciting sex from an undercover police officer on the eve of a Super Bowl 17 years ago. “We have the guys check in on their own to let us know they’re there, and at midnight hopefully we have everybody that needs to be where they’re supposed to be”, Rivera said. “One hundred percent me”.
“There are certain elements of working and preparing. Come Sunday when it’s time to play, be there”.
During the first game of that season, Allen was on the Chicago Bears and played at Levi’s Stadium.
Underrated receivers?: The Panthers’ wide receiver corps is flying far under the radar approaching Super Bowl 50.
