Slain Virginia teen mourned as investigation continues
Nicole Madison Lovell, a 13-year-old who was abducted and killed for motives that are still under investigation, is being remembered by people who knew her as an “angel”. That feature details Eisenhauer’s illustrious athletic career.
Eisenhauer was allegedly traced through Lovell’s computer and placed under arrest. Natalie Keepers, 18, a Laurel resident accused of helping dispose of the girl’s body, was arrested on Sunday. Their next hearing date is March 28th at 1pm for a preliminary hearing in Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.
Virginia Tech said on its website that Eisenhauer was a freshman engineering major at the school and that hundreds of students and researchers had assisted in the search for Lovell.

Police found her body Saturday about 100 miles south in Surry County, North Carolina.
He was charged with murder once the girl’s remains were found.
Both are students at Virginia Tech. Natalie Keepers, 19, is charged with improper disposal of a body and accessory after the fact in the commission of a felony. She said that the teenager had been bullied in school because of her looks and that she was ashamed of her surgery scars pertaining to a liver condition which almost saw her death prior to a liver transplant when she was five years old. The search was related to the girl’s death, police said, but they did not say what divers were seeking. Police said Eisenhauer has not confessed and did not offer any information that led to Lovell’s remains.
LeMon said it was “very difficult” to hear about the charges but did not want to comment further because the allegations are pending.
A fellow runner from Eisenhower’s Club in Howard County, Maryland said, “We’re all just in utter shock…we can’t get our heads around it”. “I’m hurt. It’s unbelievable”.
Snider said she learned all this from her girls only after Nicole vanished.

Lovell posted often about her romantic life on her Facebook page, claiming she went through several relationships over the past two years.
“That’s all I know”, she told The Washington Post Sunday.
“I saw the news yesterday and I was shocked to see her face”, Narh told ABC News.
At the time of Nicole Lovell’s initial disappearance, the girl had purposefully sought to leave the family home, having climbed out of her window, whilst putting a dresser in front of her bedroom door.
Eisenhauer said “I believe the truth will set me free” after he was arrested on Saturday, a police document says.
Eisenhauer was a member of the Virginia Tech cross country team, but was immediately suspended after his arrest, a university spokesperson said. His profile on the school’s sports site was removed after the charges were announced.
Pursuant to the indictment of the track star, Virginia Tech Police Department released a statement saying: The entire Virginia Tech community extends its support to Nichole’s family and friends.
James LeMon, principal at Wilde Lake High School in Columbia, Maryland, where Eisenhauer graduated as part of the class of 2015, recalled him as “a typical kid” in many ways, even as he was a standout in track and cross country.
