Me Before You Trailer: Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin Find Love Together
After failing as a beautician and chicken factory worker in Me Before You, Louisa (Clarke) lands a position as a caregiver to a disabled man named Will (Sam Claflin). Can the actual cast possibly top the characters in your head? Pictures has revealed the first trailer for the touching romance Me Before You, starring Emilia Clarke (Terminator Genisys, “Game of Thrones”) and Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games: Mackingjay, Snow White and the Huntsman). We don’t want to give too much away, so for now, we’ll just let you watch it for yourself. There’s some serious Nicholas Sparks vibes coming off of this sucker, but there’s the slightest hint that this film will be happy enough to be a bit more fun (and funny) than tripe like The Notebook or The Vow.
This will be the feature film directorial debut for Sharrock, taking on a new role for the highly-anticiapted adaptation.
The script is co-written by Michael H. Weber and Scott Neustadter, the writing duo behind “The Fault In Our Stars”, “Paper Towns”, and “The Spectacular Now”, so they know this kind of emotional territory well.
The film also stars Charles Dance (“The Imitation Game”), Jenna Coleman (“Dr. Who”), Matthew Lewis (the “Harry Potter” films), Vanessa Kirby (“About Time”), Stephen Peacocke (“Hercules”), Brendan Coyle (“Downton Abbey”) and Oscar nominee Janet McTeer (“Albert Nobbs”, “Tumbleweeds”).
