Fresh off Iowa win, Cruz sets sights on SC
Marco Rubio refused Tuesday to call SC a must-win state in his bid to win the Republican presidential nomination.
But Cruz has a bit more time to convince Prescher: He was visiting New Hampshire on a business trip from Maryland. “Do we hope against all hope that we’re going to do well in New Hampshire?’ I think after New Hampshire, you’ll definitely start to see people drop out before they get to SC”, said Malyerck.
Given the “wolf” letter, desperate “voting violation” letter and use of private data, Ted Cruz’s campaign has turned from an anti-establishment movement to a “anything-to-win” campaign of desperation. But the first presidential contest wasn’t so good for other candidates either.
“It’s critical that we as conservatives unite behind someone like Ted”, Duncan said in the video. “I’m trying to learn the lesson from that”. I believe that candidate is Sen.
“I’ll tell you why I came here”, he told an audience at a town hall meeting in the Bow Elementary School. “Sometimes in these fights I’ve been in the majority, other times I’ve been in the minority, and often I’m one of a few”.
Christian ValuesI want to thank evangelical Christians for the warm embrace I’ve received on the campaign trail.
Cruz’s success was clearly rooted in his laser-focused dedication to so-called “values voters”, conservative Christians who historically support candidates that share their faith and take right-wing positions on issues such as same-sex marriage and abortion (i.e., opposing both).
“Literally, the men and women of New Hampshire changed the course of history, of America and of the world”, Cruz said.
But, he added, “I don’t expect to win”. SC follows 11 days later.
The sample was of 1,794 Republican caucus-goers present on Monday at randomly selected caucuses across the state.
“On the ground, it feels like the U.S. Senate race in Texas”.
In the new ad, Scott stresses the importance of the 2016 election and insisted Rubio will help boost America.
“We’re gonna have fun”, he says. A weapon, by the way, this column spent no small number of words warning would easily give Republicans more power and influence; especially in the states. We really haven’t even had the chance to vote for one. “That shot is Marco Rubio”. But instead of propelling a single candidate to a clear victory, it split among several different candidates, leaving Cruz, Rubio and Trump in something resembling a three-way tie.
“Since South Carolina has moved to an early primary starting in the early 1980’s, it has only misfired or failed to accurately predict the nominee once and that was in 2012”, said Kedrowski.
