Lady Gaga joins U2 on stage at Madison Square Garden
When you go to see U2 on its iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour, you certainly expect to see one stadium act but not two.
The band are now performing an eight-night residency of shows at Madison Square Garden and last night, Lady Gaga made a special appearance to perform Ordinary Love with Bono. “That’s a treat”, Bono said as he hugged and kissed the blonde bombshell. She was wearing enormous Alexander McQueen boots, so The Edge gallantly helped her walk off the stage when it was done. “It’s yourself. Her Ladyness, her Gaganess is here this evening”.
At the end of the performance, he added: “Princess, Queen, one day Woman of New York City, here with us tonight in Madison Square Garden“. “What a delight”.
Sporting a wig and a bra teamed with matching panties, the singer sits at the piano and serves as a backing vocalist for frontman Bono during the performance of “Ordinary Love”.
U2’s run of shows at Madison Square Garden ends on July 31.
