A commercial for Apartments.com, the footage is set to The Jeffersons’ famous theme song, “Movin on Up”.

As he is being harnessed to the top of a high-rise while playing a piano, he passes George (Washington) and Weezy. But one ad is already bringing calls of “racism”, even though the African-American rapper who stars in the commercial is telling fans to get a grip.

According to the site, the fact that the rapper is barbecuing for his fellow tooth-replacer is “low-key racist”, and “some people” have taken issue with it.
The source added, per TMZ, the #MovinOnUp spot is supposed to be comedy, and “people need to calm down”.
In 2014 an ad featuring Scarlett Johanssen was pulled because it was deemed to be too sexually suggestive and too explicit in its condemnation of other brands.
