Jamie and Louise Redknapp not appearing in Strictly Come Dancing
It was obviously a backstage secret that wasn’t supposed to have been made public knowledge.
‘Jamie quickly denied it, saying “No, no, it’s not true” but he went bright red.’.
A show insider insisted the couple hadn’t signed when contacted by the paper, but did reveal they were in the final stages of negotiations. His fellow panellist Jack Whitehall told the studio audience during a break in filming that he and Claudia had “exciting news” about this year’s show.
“Claudia looked genuinely annoyed that Jack had told everyone”.
Jamie and Louise Redknapp are set for battle in the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ ballroom, as the married couple have both reportedly signed up for the BBC show.
Speculation has been mounting as to who will appear on the hit BBC dance show, but now it seems Jack Whitehall has let the cat out of the bag about one of our favorite celeb couples.
It wouldn’t be the first time that Strictly has welcomed a couple, back in 2007 we saw Gabby Logan triumph over husband Kenny by lasting longer in the competition, although that was the year Alesha Dixon actually won the series. Ola said recently that having a child now would probably put an end to her Strictly career.
Keen to start a family, Jamie persuaded Louise to see a doctor when, two years into their marriage, they’d failed to conceive.
Bollywood star Amy Jackson is among the names being mentioned in connection with the new series, along with former This Morning presenters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, former Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton, Peter Andre, EastEnder Shane Richie and Loose Women’s Jamelia.
