Amazon’s Alexa Assistant Arrives On Original Fire TV

Amazon’s Echo connected speaker and digital assistant is getting some pizza-delivery skills just in time for the Super Bowl.

To order a pizza, users must connect their Domino’s account through the Alexa companion app. Users can then say “Alexa, open Domino’s and place my Easy Order”, or “open Domino’s and place my most recent order”.

However, if you have a newer Fire TV-one of the ones released in September, Amazon said, you can already use it for those features and more, including local search, traffic and weather reports, and more.

The profile contains your name, address and payment information as well as an Easy Order preference which is basically the go-to pizza order. Once you enter the phone number associated with the order, Alexa will even provide updates using Domino’s pizza tracker. Users can currently place their orders from many platforms including Twitter, text messages, smart TVs, smartwatches, cars, and their mobile app, there is even an option to order with their voice or an emoji, and now they are bringing their service to the Amazon Echo.

While both Denver and Charlotte’s Domino’s stores will see high sales at the beginning of the game, the city of the winning team will likely see higher sales at the end of the night.
