Apple iPhone 7 to shed awkward camera lens bump

Sources told tech blog 9to5Mac that Apple’s first media event since September would be held on March 15, and three major product categories will figure prominently.

The rumour mill keeps exporting words on the iPhone 7’s design language, but none of what has surfaced can be supported for the time being. The device has still not experienced the desired level of success, leaving little option but to introduce a successor to the popular iPad Air 2 in a bid to revive declining tablet sales. The two biggest similarities the iPad Air 3 is expected to bear from the iPad Pro are the arrival of a smart connector and a four speaker setup. The latter could certainly be a first for any iPad launched by the Cupertino giants so far, regardless of the brand line.

We’ll likely see Apple launch several new products, including a cheaper iPhone, unofficially called the iPhone 5se.

There is also word that Apple might design the iPhone 7 like it does with its iPod Touch, including multiple colors. However, there is another new iPhone coming in March, known as the iPhone 5SE, which is said to feature the iPhone 5S 4-inch design with the internal specifications of an iPhone 6S. It also isn’t likely to come with any of the newer technologies like the pressure-sensitive display found on the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. Even though the release date is fast approaching, we have no official word on the Apple iPad Air 3. GSMArena reports, iPhone 5se going to join iPad Air 3 launch event.

This seemed to indicate that maybe Apple could create a special higher-end model aimed at more serious photographers who would be willing to pay for the technology and features.

But Gurman says that we shouldn’t expect a revamped Apple Watch until later this year. If this is true, Apple Watch 2 may be expected around summer of this year.
