Winners and near-winners of Iowa’s caucuses
The real estate mogul accused victory Ted Cruz of voter fraud, and said he “stole” the win.
Trump referred to an email that Cruz’s campaign sent on Monday that implied another Republican candidate, Ben Carson, was about to drop out of the race and that his Iowa backers should be urged to vote for the Texan instead.
Carson didn’t quit the race.
“Based on the fraud committed by Senator Ted Cruz during the Iowa Caucus, either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified”. “They’re both fighting for the same things, and they’re more for the people, but right now, I’m for Hillary”, Dover resident Edna Von Husen said.
During the interview, Trump also blasted Cruz for his campaign’s controversial mailer to Iowans over the weekend that claimed registered voters were in some sort of “voter violation”.
A group of Indian-Americans supporting Donald Trump have made a decision to campaign and run advertisements in New Hampshire after the Republican presidential front-runner suffered a shock defeat in Iowa.
Mr Pate said Mr Cruz’s mailers “misrepresent Iowa election law” and that they were “not in keeping in the spirit of the Iowa Caucuses”, but he stopped short of any official action.
That directly contradicted what he said two months earlier: “We’ve got such an incredible ground game”, he said in Cedar Rapids on December 19.
“New Hampshire always favors neighbors, which I think is neighborly, and maybe you should have just moved on to some of these other states where everybody says you’ve got big leads and all of that”, Clinton said.
His second-place finish there was seen as a major disappointment.
“I was somewhat amused today to hear Senator Sanders set himself up as the gatekeeper for the definition of what’s progressive”, she said the event moderated by television news network CNN.
“We’ve been fighting the progressive fight and getting results for people for years, so I hope we keep it on the issues because if it’s about our records, hey, I’m going to win by a landslide on Tuesday”, she added. “I don’t know anyone who would be comfortable with someone who behaves this way having his finger on the button”. “I was actually semi-satisfied with it”.
“New Hampshire is Bernie Sanders’ backyard”.
