Donald Trump’s jet makes emergency landing in Tennessee
It’s been a rough week for Presidential contender Donald Trump.
Donald Trump’s plane was diverted to Nashville International Airport after the control tower received a report that the aircraft was experiencing engine trouble.
“Based on the fraud committed by Senator Ted Cruz during the Iowa Caucus, either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified”, Trump tweeted Wednesday.
A World War II-era military plane has made a belly landing at Dallas Executive Airport and officials say the pilot escaped injury.
Trump was headed to an event in Little Rock, Arkansas when he was detoured.
In the meantime, the plane remains at the airport for repairs.
The Federal Aviation Administration said Trump’s plane landed safely at 4.40pm after reporting engine problems. He arrived more than an hour-and-a-half late due to the diversion.
“I love Arkansas”, he said.
The FAA says it will investigate.
