Motorist dead, 5 injured in SUV-school bus crash
Emergency crews rushed to the scene of a deadly accident involving a school bus in Cumberland County, New Jersey.
Motorist dead, 4 students hurt in school bus crash A school bus carrying special needs students has collided with an SUV in southern New Jersey, leaving one person dead and four children hurt.
Authorities say the injured students, all from Bridgeton, range in age from 11 to 17. One adult passenger on the bus was taken to Cooper Medical Center with serious injuries.
The incident occurred around 7:45 a.m. on East Commerce Street.
The Toyota’s driver died at the scene, police said.
State Police say the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
6 ABC reports the children were headed to Pineland Learning Center in Vineland.
