American Crime Story: The People v OJ Simpson
Monet has been cast to play as O.J. Simpson’s (Cuba Gooding Jr.) 8-year-old daughter, Sydney Simpson, IB Times reports.
The new FX mini-series about the Trial of the Century takes some liberties with the truth; as former prosecutor Clark told Entertainment Weekly, it’s “not a documentary”, but rather a dramatization, and “they weren’t trying to “get it right” necessarily”.
Many things are yet to unfold in the next episodes of “The People v. O.J. Simpson”, which airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on FX.
Bringing in 5.1 million total viewers, the series which focuses on the murder trial of O. J. Simpson, beat “American Horror Story”, “Sons of Anarchy”, and “Fargo” to take the spot. These days Clark is crime novelist, and her fifth book, “Blood Defense”, comes out in May.

She is glad that two decades later, someone finally opened doors for people to start discussing some taboo issues such as racism and sexism.

“I was actually a little afraid”.
