SyFy Orders New Series Incorporated From Matt Damon & Ben Affleck
We look forward to working with the stellar teams at Pearl Street Films, CBS Television Studios and Universal Cable Productions to bring it to life for Syfy viewers.
The most powerful science fiction holds up a mirror to our world.
The joint venture with CBS Television Studios and Universal Cable Productions will include a 13-episode first season to premiere this fall on Syfy.
Ted Humphrey will serve as executive producer and showrunner, with Affleck, Damon and Todd also EPs.
Incorporated follows the story of Ben Larson (played by Sean Teale) as he tries to penetrate an extremely unsafe near future world where corporations have infinite power.
Things at Syfy are looking good as of late, with 12 Monkeys, The Expanse, and The Magicians all having strong debuts, and Hunters in the can for the spring. Teale will costar with Dennis Haysbert, Eddie Ramos, and Julia Ormond. Ben does this to save the woman he loves and he’ll soon discover that he is not the only person whose secrets may have dire consequences. Playing off their own interest in the convergence of politics and money, they’re producing the show that was created by David Pastor and Alex Pastor, and they directed the pilot as well. Also from Pearl Street, Margaret Chernin is attached as a co-producer.
Damon and Affleck said of the project: “Incorporated provides us distinct insight into a world dictated by our decisions today”.
