Donald Trump was coasting in the Iowa polls even after ditching the state’s final debate as the latest maneuver in his petty one-sided feud with Fox’s Megyn Kelly. Trump said, in a tweet that was subsequently deleted, that Cruz committed fraud and called on Iowa to hold a reelection.

The tycoon went on to accuse the Cruz campaign of sending mailers to “thousands” of Iowa voters that were created to look like “voter violation” certificates.

Asked if he will file a complaint with the Secretary of State’s office in Iowa, Trump told Herald Radio, “I probably will. What he did is unthinkable”.
“And finally, Cruz strongly told thousands of caucus-goers that Trump was strongly in favor of ObamaCare and “choice” – a total lie!”
Paul Pate, the top election official in Iowa, condemned the mailers on Saturday, saying the state does not track or grade individual voters. Neither of these things are likely to happen.
The Cruz campaign sent an email to its backers Monday, urging them to inform caucusgoers that Carson planned to leave the race.
