Cam Newton’s high school coach talks about Super Bowl
The last time the San Francisco Bay Area hosted the Super Bowl was in 1985. All that is left is putting the final touches on everything and getting ready for the Super Bowl which is only 48 hours away.
When asked by EW in an interview this week about his Super Bowl plans, the Last Week Tonight host replied: “I definitely will watch it. I would like Peyton Manning to win – and retire”. Maybe, if that fierce Denver pass rush can disrupt Cam Newton.
Denver’s offense will have a lot of trouble with the Panthers. In the past, teams have made a decision to do this so they’re at a more secluded are, but neither the Broncos or Panthers are doing that this weekend.
Thunder coach Billy Donovan said he hasn’t paid enough attention to the National Football League to pick a victor, but also spoke glowingly of Manning and Newton. “I think that would be tough”. His ability to extend plays should also present problems for the Denver secondary.
With two weeks to get set for the Super Bowl, a lot of topics are brought up in conversation, some just a little more annoying than others. Can imagine the end of the game with the ball in Manning’s hands… It’s not going to be a beatdown, like Carolina’s dominating win against Arizona.
Nick: This will be a contrast with my head and heart.
“I came into work and the first thing he said to me is, ‘Are we going?,'” said his son Chris Muhr. He sits firmly behind C.J. Anderson, Ronnie Hillman and Juwan Thompson, but he is enjoying the ride this season. I can see Denver struggling like it did two years ago against the Seahawks.
Hammer says “Experience I go with experience”.
“I see what I can do against them every single day and that’s given me more confidence than I’ve ever had”, Bibbs said.
He thinks it’s going to make him stronger in the future even while the present is consumed with winning a championship.
I think the game will be still in doubt heading into the fourth quarter.
Manning, Jackson, Colquitt and Scott are among the more than 60 former Vols who have appeared in a Super Bowl, a tradition that is not lost on those who will be playing Sunday.
Jackson said the team is motivated to win for Manning as well as veterans DeMarcus Ware and Owen Daniels, each of whom will be playing in their first Super Bowl.
“Hopefully he can go out with a win so that’s what I’m looking forward to”, says Broncos fan Caleb Lewis.
