Apple Music 0.9.5 APK Download Now Available For Android Phones
When Apple rolled out Apple Music in June, it described the streaming music service as a “revolutionary” kind of 24/7 live, global radio station.
According to 9to5Mac, which cited unnamed sources at Apple, CEO Tim Cook recently held a Town Hall meeting for employees, during which he hinted at plans to bring more apps and services to Android. We understand the need for a tight ecosystem but it’s clear that Android isn’t going anywhere and if they want to keep the cash flowing, they may have to take more of a Microsoft approach to their applications and services.
What are your thoughts regarding Apple’s move to make more of their products available on Android devices? Apple Pay would be a nice addition too, but there are doubts as to whether it could feasibly make the jump to an alternate operating system and maintain the security it now has.
The released of the “Move to iOS” app by Apple was followed by the company’s two more apps for Android — Apple Music, and Beats Pill+.
Though the iOS app does not include the new feature, Apple Music for Android now lets customers save music tracks to an SD card for offline storage. The biggest part of the new version is the ability to download music to an SD card on compatible smartphones.
Beyond hardware-centric features like SD support, Apple has also done a decent job sticking to Android design standards, though the app remains saddled with a 3-star average review rating.
