Clinton courts Sanders fans in New Hampshire
She said young Sanders voters have told her his plan for free college tuition and single-payer health care are two of the main reasons they support the self-described democratic-socialist.
The analysis was made at a time when Hillary Clinton has been under scrutiny for her ties to Wall Street, which has been a major focus of Vermont Sen.
Hillary Clinton can’t seem to get out from under a scandal involving a series of speeches she gave to Goldman Sachs employees, and she’s turned to sarcasm as a last resort. Her husband, former President Bill Clinton stayed in New Hampshire to campaign for her. Former Red Sox CEO Larry Lucchino was also in New Hampshire to stump for Clinton.
Clinton earned about $600,000 for the speeches, and has said that she will “look into” releasing their transcripts.
