‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ face new rival in Super Bowl Spot
This summer, the streets of NY will once again be safer for all but evil ninjas, mutated street gangs and pizza slices, with a new trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows debuting during Sunday’s Super Bowl 50.
It’s not hard to see from this trailer that Out of the Shadows is essentially going to be an homage to the 1980’s cartoon, and in many ways that’s a great deal more exciting than the nonsense Michael Bay put out first time around. Alan Ritchson, Jeremy Howard, Pete Ploszek, and Noel Fisher will reprise their roles as Raphael, Donatello, Leonardo, and Michelangelo.
Far more handsome than both of them is Arrow star Stephen Amell, and this new look at the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel gives us some very cool shots of him in action as Casey Jones. “It’s nearly like having a month long convention celebrating all thingsTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”. Meanwhile, the Turtles must face up to the grim possibility that they might never get back to their world. And hey, throwing in a super cool new version of the Turtle Van probably doesn’t hurt, either. The film is based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters created by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman and is directed by David Green (“EARTH TO ECHO”).
