Monday forecast: Windy with light snow showers
Another three to five inches of snow is possible Monday, adding to the snow that fell in Wilton Center on Friday.
Mostly cloudy skies will prevail in the North Country with light snow in the forecast for Monday night through the middle of the week, according to the National Weather Service. The advisory covers Fairfield and New Haven counties.
A wind advisory is in effect for all of northeast Kansas today with sustained winds between 25-35 miles per hour with gusts between 40-50 miles per hour out of the northwest. Visibility could be reduced to one-half mile at times.
Tuesday’s high temperatures slip into the mid to high 30s.
Local forecasters are calling for between 2 and 6 inches of snow in the early week as south-central Pennsylvania is set to experience its second snow storm of the season.
On Wednesday, a chance of snow showers remains with high temperatures in the high 30s.
Another inch of snow is possible Tuesday night, continuing Wednesday into Wednesday night.
