The third-generation iPad Air 3 would be the ideal model to introduce Apple Pencil support to Apple’s 9.7-inch tablet lineup.
There are speculations that the new iPad Air will be released at a very affordable price of $578.
The anticipation for the iPad Air 3 launch continues to heighten as the buzz for a March announcement remains intact. 2GB of memory allows the iPad to perform admirably even if there are tons of apps open in the background.

However, a recent report from DigiTimes suggests that the iPad Air 3 could come with 4GB of RAM to match the iPad Pro’s own 4GB of memory. Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst for KGI Securities, believes that 3D touch will not be present in the upcoming tablet because of production issues. The 16GB variant of the iPad Air 2 can be bought starting at $499.
Tech critics are wondering whether the Air 3 will be powered by the A9X chip, which also powers the iPad Pro, or 6S’ A9 chip. Rumors also claim that the company could use the iPad Air 3 to test their improved low-light shooting technology that it plans to incorporate in the iPhone 7.
