Nicolas Cage Becomes the Grandpa of Lucian Augustus
The man of many roles now added one more role in his life by becoming the grandpa of Lucian Augustus.
The Baby
The boy is the first baby of Weston Cage and his wife Danielle Cage. The couple was in the news of expecting a baby a few months ago, earlier this year. The baby named as Lucian Augustus Coppola Cage and was born on 1st July, 2014.
The lovely couple talked about their baby news to a leading weekly, a few months ago at the fundraiser for Kasem Cares Foundation. The then- parents-to-be were lit up in their discussion on their baby news.
Nicolas Cage and the Grandson
Weston Cage, the musician son Nicolas Cage said, “My dad is ecstatic.” He also said, “He was elated immediately when he met Danielle.” The famous actor Nicolas Cage, who is at his 50, has a kid, who is only 8 years old and named as Kal-El, with his wife Alice Kim. However, Alice Kim is not the mother of Weston, rather Christina Fulton, the ex-wife of Nicolas Cage is the mother of this rocker.
The Baby Name
The Cage couple- Weston Cage and Danielle Cage showed their love for their descent as well as their ancestors in picking up the name for their first baby. The love pair explained that they chosen their baby name before its birth. Danielle said, “Lucian is of Romanian descent, which is what I am,” and it shows her fond for her descent clearly. She also said that “And Augustus is taken from Weston’s grandfather.”
Weston Cage expressed their honor for his grandfather by stating, “His name is August,” and “We honor him very much. He was of extreme brilliance. He was a genius.”
