‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: See Olivia Caridi, Ben Higgins talk over issues
After the group date, Leah decides to sneak over to Ben’s bachelor pad for some secret one-on-one time.
So where can you watch the Bachelor and when will all of the action be going down?
Last week on The Bachelor Season 20, we saw Ben and the remaining ladies make their way to Mexico City and take their journey worldwide. She heads to Ben’s suite and instead of swapping spit and childhood memories, she spends the entire time bad mouthing Lauren B. Eventually Ben stops her and tells her, “Something just doesn’t feel right”.
I don’t know if you noticed this, because the editing didn’t make a big deal out of it, but Emily and Ben don’t kiss when he gives her the rose. As the season has gone on however some front runners have seemingly stood out to Ben, and audiences, including Olivia who is maybe not as nice as we (and Ben) once thought. Then don’t look ahead!!! We pick up right where we left off from last week’s cliffhanger and the tension is palpable as Ben faces off with Olivia about her behavior.
A very puzzled Ben asked if she felt he was the right person. She is confident and that is intimidating to them all (or she is just a bitch?). Amanda, Lauren H, and Olivia already have roses.
For the group date this week, Ben could not have planned a more awkward affair.
That means Jennifer is the only one without a rose tonight and she is eliminated.
With a handful of weeks remaining and hometown dates just around the corner, Ben’s race to the altar is picking up speed – and the remaining women hope that they won’t fall behind.
Things got insane during Week 5 of The Bachelor Season 20.
Lauren Bushnell gets the first one-on-one date in IN and if the pictures below are any indication, they still have that spark that was apparent on their first one-on-one earlier in the season. The first date card goes to Caila and she gets her second one-on-one date! Other women, especially Leah were super upset that she still hasn’t had a one-on-one. I think she’s just jealous of her. Ben brought it up to Lauren B. and she was caught off guard and she should just tell him to be smarter! The two head off with Ben to a rain-swept tropical island. Ben and Caila did some fishing during the day and now the evening portion.
Well, Olivia defended herself to Ben in the creepy ally way, explaining that it’s just tough for her to connect with the girls – at first she had a huge target on her back because she was getting roses and time with him, so she pulled away from them, then she was blamed for being antisocial. I guess things won’t go well as he will ditch her after the meeting.
Finally, the dreaded two-on-one date card arrives and Olivia and Emily are pitted against each other. She told him that she feels like she is being “understood” and that’s how she knows that she is falling in love because that’s what she wants out of life, and also she understands him.
Her defense was arguably the best line of the episode: “I feel like it’s been hard for me to relate”. Although he pulls her out of the rose ceremony, spoilers indicate that he will not send her home. Ben talks to Olivia first. I’d be like, go talk to her back at the pool at the hotel, I’ll wait at the bar for my turn to chat!
After that satisfying shocker, The Bachelor powers-that-be chose to leave Olivia uncontrollably crying on the beach while the cameras captured aerial shots of her solo sobfest.
