Confirmed: Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli part ways

After the Ranbir-Katrina and Farhan-Adhuna break-up, it’s time for Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli to call it quits.

This news comes close on the heels of reports that Kohli recently unfollowed Sharma on Twitter and Instagram, aside from posting a picture with the caption “Heartbroken”, before deleting and re-uploading it. “Here it is again (sic)”.

The PK actress has not yet opened up about the shocking split and has been keeping herself busy with the shoot of Sultan, alongside mega star Salman Khan. Hectic schedules seem to be taking a toll on their relationship. Virat reportedly proposed marriage in the new year but the actress turned it down, saying she wanted to focus on her career now.

Reports about Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s break-up surfaced a few days ago.

A Bollywood website citied sources close to Anushka and Virat as confirming that the couple are not together any more.

According to a report in a leading tabloid, Virat attended the birthday bash of actor Angad Bedi on Saturday where he set the dance floor on fire. However, the act didn’t go unnoticed from the eagle eyes of stalking fans, triggering rumours of the Anushka-Virat relationship falling apart. It is said that Virat opted out of India-Sri Lanka Twenty-20 series as they had planned to spend time together. A source told BollywoodLife.com, “Yes, marriage was the point of disagreement between the couple”. The current ex-couple have not been in touch, for the last three weeks.

Well, the both of them are yet to make an official confirmation on the same!

“I am in a relationship with Virat and he wants me to come and watch him play and I want to watch him”, she had said.
