Gary Kubiak credits Peyton Manning’s resilience for Super Bowl triumph
Like I said, I didn’t see the Cam interview, but I can only imagine what happened.
The Broncos players ripped Cam Newton following Super Bowl 50. Two of Miller’s sacks resulted in fumbles that gave the Broncos their first touchdown and led to the second. I promise you that. So for some, it may be understandable that the 26-year-old quarterback didn’t have much to say after losing the biggest game of his football career.
James was rooting for Newton and the Panthers in Super Bowl 50.
Hall of Fame receiver turned NFL Network analyst Michael Irvin said when asked about the brief interview that he can’t really identify with Newton’s postgame frustration, for one key reason.
“As hard as it is to answer some of the questions that you know this is the last thing you want to talk about, you have to go up there and take the onus, and take the good with the bad”.
Of retirement, Ware responded, “I got a lot of gas in the tank”. I’m going to celebrate with my family, and I’ll keep doing it for a few more weeks. “I would. Physically, I just don’t think it’s worth going on”.
According to Jason Cole of Bleacher Report, folks within the Broncos organization are telling him that Sunday night was indeed the last time that Manning will be quarterbacking an National Football League team.
It was common knowledge entering the postseason that Denver’s defense was excellent and that the Broncos would need to ride the unit to the top with Peyton Manning and the offense looking like a shell of its former self. However, instead of being humble in defeat Newton chose to take a subtle shot at the Broncos implying that perhaps they weren’t the better team. “That’s it. They scored more points than us”. I told him just congratulations on his outstanding season, and just what a great future he has ahead of him. “Understanding that we could get it done this way (and) that there’s not just one way to win”.
