Panthers, Patriots early favorites to win 2017 Super Bowl

With the confetti from the Bronco’s win barely cleared out of Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco, the favorites to win next year include the New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks and Carolina Panthers.

The Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks are 9/1 co-favorites to win it all next time around, as of Monday morning, via Bovada.

The potential loss of future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning to retirement has the Denver Broncos trailing the leaders on the odds to win Super Bowl 51 at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark.

The Panthers, the Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals are all listed at 10-1 for next season. All three teams were given 8-1 odds against capturing the title on February 5, 2017, in Houston.

The favorites to win the next Super Bowl are not the ones who won the last Super Bowl.

William Hill lists the Seahawks, Packers, Steelers and Cardinals at 10-1, followed by the Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs at 15-1 along with the Broncos.

Looking at other teams in the Panthers division, the Falcons and Saints open at 40-1 odds, and Tampa Bay at 50-1 odds to reach Super Bowl LI.
