Ellie Goulding gets supernatural for Major Lazer’s Powerful video

Major Lazer has unveiled the music video to their Peace Is The Mission collaboration with Ellie Goulding and Tarrus Riley, “Powerful“. The video features Goulding and Riley possessing X-Men-like super powers, turning a neighborhood diner upside down with their wild “energy”, all in the name of L-O-V-E. As the “Burn” singer sits alone in a booth, her coffee cup begins to rattle – and it’s not because a waitress just bumped her table. There is also a remix for the Ariana Grande song “All My Love”, which appeared on The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One soundtrack.

“Ellie had been hitting me up around that time wanting to work with Major Lazer, so I sent her this demo”, Diplo explained.

The group will return for shows in Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester and London this October.
