Martin Shkreli sued by artist over Wu-Tang Clan album
Of all the random, completely unexpected celebrity feuds of the past year, none has been such an endless source of entertainment as the beef between Martin Shkreli and Ghostface Killah. Sarah Goulet, Head of Communications at Paddle8, told the Observer this album was not part of the sale, but rather a separate gift from Wu-Tang Clan to Mr. Shkreli.
Ghostface Killah, a member of the Wu-Tang Clan, has released a 12-minute diss track aimed straight at Shkreli.
Ghostface’s sister: “Look, Martin, if you was my son, I’d whoop your ass.”
Ghostface’s goon says it was a “sucker move” for Shkreli to buy the $2 million Wu-Tang Clan album.
“The problem I had with him when I was being interviewed was that… he has no respect for life”. At the time, if you had said the name Martin Shkreli, most of the world would have no idea who you were talking about.
He even brings out his sister and mom to join the national chorus of scolds against Shkreli for raising the price of an AIDS pill 5,000% a year ago. “You must be on Ritalin or something man. You a fake-a- super-villian or somethin'”. He says by price-gouging medication, Shkreli is a “real killer, a soft killer … you’re a baby”. Also, Killah Priest, who was mentioned by Shkreli in his last video dart, was also on the scene for this joint aimed at the pharma-douche. “I stand for them, man. I’m not gonna allow you to keep killing these people”.
The lawsuit comes after Shkreli’s recent not guilty plea in Brooklyn federal court to securities fraud charges claiming he cheated investors in companies he created. Ghost asked. “I don’t care how much money you got, because money don’t make you a man, bruh”.
He starts by quoting Shkreli’s own – and inadvisable – smacktalk, like, “C’mon Ghost, stop acting, stop pretending, stop lying”.
