Encino | Rob Schneider’s Home Burglarised
Richard Shotwell/Richard Shotwell/Invision/AP Rob Schneider arrives at the LA Premiere of “Joe Dirt 2: handsome Loser.’ The actors mansion was robbed”.
The “Deuce Bigalow” star was at the Comedy Film Festival in Montreal, and his wife and kid were out to dinner in L.A. when the thieves broke into their Encino home.
A rare Willie Mays baseball card worth an estimated $175,000 was stolen from actor Rob Schneider’s Encino home Friday night, TMZ reported. But the mint condition 1951 Bowman Willie Mays rookie baseball card was reportedly the priciest item stolen.
The thieves also took a 1953 Willie Mays Topps. While the diamond ring and watch were expensive items, the most expensive was the extremely rare rookie card. Especially because he’s apparently a big fan of old-school baseball cards, having collected quite a number of them from the 1950s and 1960s. The Willie Mays playing cards have been separate from Rob’s important card assortment, which fortunately the thieves didn’t discover.
Hopefully the burglars don’t realize how rare the 1951 card is, so the cops can snatch up the thieves and return Schneider’s missing possessions.
“My favorite Saturday Night Live memory was this sketch I did with Adam [Sandler] and Kirstie Alley”, Schneider recalled.
So far, Rob has not commented on the robbery.
‘Adam and I were these Italian waiters and we were standing two feet away from each other and could barely hear each other because the audience was laughing so hard.
