Rocket League comes to Xbox One next week
It was announced today by developer Psyonix that Rocket League will finally race its way onto the Xbox One next Wednesday, February 17th for $19.99.
Rocket League is a fast paced battle auto game, where you compete in a football-like sport where you will be controlling cars to chase the ball and lead it to the goal. The game’s premise is simple, but putting it all into action takes some practice and getting used to.
The Xbox One version will arrive with three DLC packs included with the main game – Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars and Chaos Run.
The game takes the basic rules and gameplay of soccer but mashes them up with fully customizable and acrobatic cars that feel like radio controlled toys. There are a ton of game modes available for the game where you can play 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2 or even 4 vs 4 matches in either offline or online matches.
Microsoft confirmed via the official Xbox website that the Xbox One version of Rocket League releases on February 17th, 2016.
One thing that Xbox One fans will miss out on is crossplay functionality, PS4 and PC players can now play against each other, something that isn’t coming to the Microsoft console version. Players will then be matched against opponents in the same division when playing in ranked matches.
The moment you have all been waiting for has finally been confirmed.
