UN Security Council strongly condemns N Korea rocket launch
The North Korean satellite put into orbit after a widely condemned rocket launch over the weekend is not functioning properly, USA reports said Monday.
US and South Korea will begin “in the coming days’ discussions on the implementation of future anti-missile battery, said Mr Cook”.

“We believe this should create any concern for China”, he said.
North Korea last month tested what it said was a hydrogen bomb. “We call upon the DPRK (Democratic People’s Republic of Korea or North Korea) to refrain from such actions, which adversely affect peace and stability in the region”, the Indian foreign ministry statement said.

The Unha-3 rocket used for the launch is said to have a range of more than 10,000km and has the ability to reach the western parts of North America or to put a miniature satellite into orbit.
In an editorial written in English on Monday, the Global Times newspaper, which is published by China’s ruling Communist Party, criticized South Korea and the USA for making a “shortsighted move” by starting talks on the THAAD battery.
