What To Expect From Bungie’s Valentine’s Day Themed Event
As we learned a few weeks back, this event is known as Crimson Days where players will form a bond with one other friend and join each other in battle.
Crimson Days Valentine’s event is nearly ready to launch on Destiny, and we finally have now a lot of details to share about it: when it will precisely officially release, what’s in the pack, how many chances you have to win 320 Ghost and more.
After all, the fact remains that Destiny remains a game plagued by a dry spell in major content updates and annoying, often rage-inducing bugs like the special ammo exploit that surfaced just after patch 2.1.1 went live. The twist in this rather simple PvP mode is that whenever your teammate is down, you are going to receive the broken heart buff which is going to increase your player stats to the maximum and also provide maximum reload speed. Destiny’s Crimson Doubles is due to end on February 16. “A Crucible Fireteam, forging bonds of teamwork and friendship that even death only strengthens”.
Fighting in a vengeful state, the player remaining will be faster on the draw and will quickly recover from any damage taken. The buff ends until you die, if you’re partner is revived or when the round ends.
Players can also participate in a new Quest courtesy of Lord Shaxx.
There’s also a Crimson Candy, which will boost a player and his Fireteam. These new emotes will only be available for sale during Crimson Days, so players who are interested won’t want to wait.
A new set of emotes is also available, namely Awkward dance, unusual dance, Secret Greeting, Fist Bump, and Charm. Aside from fixes and new content, the recent update will introduce a limited time event which will test the mettle of Guardian pairs as they go up against other couples.
