Milo Ventimiglia returning for Netflix’s ‘Gilmore Girls’
This Gilmore Girls revival is seriously starting to come together in a very pleasing way, fans. A premiere date will be announced later.
Rory (Alexis Bledel) and Jess (Milio Ventimiglia) shippers can officially let out a sigh of relief.
Liza Weil and Yanic Truesdale are also confirmed to be returning to the series.
Ventimiglia joined the Gilmore Girls cast in Season 2 to become the second of Rory’s three great loves.
Previously confirmed as returning for the Netflix series are leads Bledel and Graham, as well as Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Keiko Agena and Sean Gunn.
Just last week, it was reported by TV Line that actor Matt Czuchry had closed a deal with Netflix and would be reprising his role as Logan Huntzberger, one of Rory’s ex-boyfriends, on the streaming giant’s reboot of Gilmore Girls.
Milo spoke about it at the Wizard World Comic Con, saying, “Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino, they are two of my favourite people”.
It’s a desire McCarthy recently rebuked on Twitter, writing she was never invited but wishes her former cast good luck.
What we do know about the series is that the new season will contain four 90-minute episodes, with each episode coinciding with a season of a calendar year, beginning with winter and ending with autumn.
