Is that really Liam Neeson? Star spotted looking gaunt and unrecognisable but
Fans took to Twitter to express their concerns for the popular actor, describing him as “pale, frail and unrecognisable”.
So you can imagine our surprise when we saw these images of the Ballymena man walking around London this week looking more gaunt than usual.
Imitating the Taken movie starring Liam Neeson, one Reddit user named labuzan rewrote a memorable scene from the film where Neeson’s character, Bryan Mills, threatens his daughter’s kidnappers on the phone. The man from Antrim has recently finished up work on Silence, a Martin Scorsese film set for release in 2016.
But when questioned about his appearance, Neeson’s reps confirmed that he’s doing just fine, according to Daily Mail. So we guess those terrorists from Taken won’t be sleeping any easier.
The actor recently revealed that growing older was a “touchy subject”.
Neeson said: ‘My birthday is a touchy subject. Not only that, but Neeson was seen at a charity event for the Ronald McDonald House, looking every bit his suave, movie star best. “I don’t get it. Tell me, so I know what to avoid when I have them one day”, GlenCoco511 wrote. I’m going to be 63 – nobody wants to be 63. However, Liam’s spokesperson says the actor will start working on a new film this September, and he’s now finishing another project – indicating that Liam hasn’t really cleared his calendar.
‘What I want more than anything is for it to be ignored. I just hate it and it makes me feel vulnerable.
‘Some people hire a boat and do grand things like that, but I just get embarrassed about that sort of celebration and attention.’.
