Quantum Break coming to PC; Requires a Somewhat Beefy Machine
The SKU will include a 500GB Xbox One, a full-game download of Quantum Break and a full-game download of the Xbox One backwards compatible-Xbox 360 version of Alan Wake and the DLC. Pre-ordering the digital version of Quantum Break on the Xbox Store or from select retailers will get buyers a free redemption code for the Windows 10 version.
Quantum Break will be releasing on the PC the same day as Xbox One, which came as hard news for many Xbox owners looking forward to the time-control title.
Speaking of the Xbox One Special Edition Quantum Break bundle, that has also been revealed. The Special Edition version will feature a Cirrus White edition Xbox One (pictured below), while the standard edition containing a black Xbox One. Earlier today, a now-removed report from Gamespot stated that exclusives Gears of War 4 and Scalebound will also be available on Windows 10, as documented on Reddit.

Of course, all of this Xbox 360 content can be played on the Xbox One through the newer console’s Backward Compatibility feature.
But wait, what’s all this hubbub online about a Windows 10 version of Quantum Break being released?
The third-person shooter action game puts players in control of protagonist Jack Joyce, a man capable of manipulating time. However, there isn’t any cross-play support because Quantum Break is a single player game – there’s no online component to facilitate the cross play.

The simple point of the matter is: more people will get to play Remedy’s latest game.
Despite Spencer’s claims that there is focus for both the PC and Xbox One, there were some gamers who voiced their displeasure that Microsoft was still paying attention to the PC at all. While the Xbox One could use more exclusive games, there’s nothing wrong with the title getting more exposure.
The minimum and recommended system requirements for the PC version of Quantum Break have also been revealed (right), as well as a new trailer (embedded below). Choices made during the game will affect the show’s storyline, while the show will influence how players go through the campaign.
