Broncos used well-timed blitzes to put pressure on Panthers, Cam Newton
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton’s controversial decision to walk out of a post-Super Bowl news conference has spawned a hilarious spoof video that’s gone viral on Facebook.
I wonder if people will chide Conan for being immature and unprofessional after this skit. You cruised through the playoffs to the Super Bowl, and you were named the NFL’s Most Valuable Player. I understand the emotions of losing, but you can’t do that. “I didn’t win”, “Newton” responds.
He also defended his quarterback against those who are immediately judging Newton based on what they saw during the media briefing. I believe the entire league owes you a debt of gratitude for how you made playing football look like fun instead of someone who is simply drawing a huge paycheck. Newton’s juvenile reaction has been heavily criticized by the media.
Love him or hate him everyone seems to have an opinion on how Cam Newton conducts himself on and off the field.
You know that explanation had to rankle his teammates, though the sports code dictated that they have to stand by their man. The happy Newton is fake, his smile is fake and all the good he does is just an act.
Marshall Faulk, the former Rams star, said Newton would learn from is actions during the NFL Network postgame coverage. It was a six-point game at that point and he jumped away from it, and I will never get over that. I don’t have to conform to anybody else’s wants for me to do. If you want me to be that type of person, I’m not that. I’m confused. But hey, don’t sweat the details when a guy is on a rant right?
