Israeli forces demolish 42 Palestinian barns
Israeli soldiers shot and killed a Palestinian teenager in the West Bank who reportedly was throwing rocks at cars and Israeli soldiers.
Doctors at al-Mizan hospital in Hebron said the boy, identified as Omar Madi, was shot in the chest during clashes in the camp and was evacuated to the hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
The Israeli authorities, meanwhile, allege that more than 170 knife attacks, 44 shooting attacks and 33 vehicular attacks have been carried out by Palestinians against Israelis over the same period, leaving 30 Israelis dead and more than 340 injured.
Last Thursday, Israeli forces demolished five tents, three barns and an outside toilet in the village of Tammun, in the West Bank, which it said had been built without permits.
A wave of violence which erupted on October 1 has claimed the lives of 26 Israelis, as well as an American, a Sudanese and an Eritrean, according to an AFP count.

Israel captured the West Bank, Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem in the 1967 Middle East war and later annexed East Jerusalem, declaring it part of its eternal, indivisible capital, a move never recognized internationally.
