Hitman Beta Gameplay Shows A Promising Start for the Game
Through the Beta, players can get a glimpse at what they’ll get in March. Questions were raised as to whether this would carry over to the main game, and a Square Enix representative quickly shut down that notion.
According to Game Spot, the minimum PC system requirements for the “Hitman” Beta include a 64-bit Windows 7 OS, Intel CPU Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz/ AMD CPU Phemon II X4 940 processor, 8GB of RAM memory, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660/ Radeon HD 7870 graphics, and DirextX version 11. Still, it’s a beta, and these are permissible…at least for now. It would also be there that he will meet Diana Burnwood, who would become Agent 47’s handler. You can get more information on the different game packs on the official Hitman website. In one scenario, I tampered with a stationery fighter jet’s ejection seat before my witless victim tested out the vehicle’s safety precautions. Titled the “Prologue”, players will have the opportunity to play through Agent 47’s beginnings. For players, this is about trying out the game and confirming that it is money well spent. Sadly, some of the frustrations from Hitman Absolution have remained, such as the QTE combat system and the stiff gunplay. Although the beta includes two “hits”, it’s doubtful they will play any relevance to the narrative of the full game, and it’s most likely just to be training exercises. The side-missions will be released at certain periods along with each release of part of the game and its expansions. The actual impact of this new format remains to be seen, but be sure to stay with Gamesided in the coming months as we approach the full release of the game.
