More winter weather could move in late Sunday
A brief spot of freezing rain is in the forecast for Monday morning’s commute, though National Weather Service officials are saying it’s not expected to stick to the roads.

Approximately an inch of snow is possible before the changeover.
The dangerously low wind chills could lead to frostbite and hypothermia, if precautions are not taken. Snow accumulations of from 1-3 inches, with some ice possible.
Much of the northeastern United States woke up to record cold on Valentine’s Day. It reached minus-16 in Worcester, Massachusetts, breaking the 1979 record of 11 below zero.

The winter weather we see Monday will change to rain by Monday evening, but later that night and early Tuesday, the cold temperatures return.
Wednesday will be partly sunny with a high of 40 and a low of 20.
The low Monday night will be around 34 with a 90 percent chance of rain.
Tuesday will see rain, heavy at times, though the temperatures will be in the upper 40s to mid 50s.
