‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Preview Drops Big Hints About Negan
Sam-young, fearful and undeniably pale-panics in a herd full of zombies and is overtaken.
What’s going on during tonight’s episode? The fact that Rick killed Ron’s father created a motive behind the shooting that slowly developed. In the comics, he gets bitten by a Walker.
Since Ron is older, it made sense for the TV version of Carl to give this response. Michonne swoops in with one swift cut of her blade through Ron, unwilling to risk Rick’s life inching any closer to death. Do you know who you can trust? “Your dad was an a*****e”.
It’s a moment comic fans have anticipated for a while – and that we reported was likely coming – but now it’s finally here! “Season four when Carl’s left on his own when he thinks that Rick is dead – stuff like that”. The walkers grab Jessie though she won’t let go of Carl’s hand. With the lands fully infested with the walking dead, it was Victor’s idea to stock up on supplies and head to the sea, thinking that the walking dead will not be able to reach them there. After six seasons of The Walking Dead, we all know how well even the best-laid plans go in this walker-ridden world, so of course things went to hell.
Valentine’s Day and “The Walking Dead” aren’t the most obvious couple, but fans of the humans vs. zombie drama are feeling all warm and fuzzy that the show is returning for its Season 6 midseason premiere. Now, we’ve introduced the specter of Negan, and obviously we still have the walkers out there…and it’s not as if the Wolves have been terminated, either. Like Carol, Michonne fulfills a function on the show that no other character does, and I can’t imagine her being killed off this season. But what if Carl dies in a surprise twist? “It’s not always the same character that meets their end as in the comic books”, she said.
The Walking Dead returns Sunday, Feb. 14 at 9 p.m. on AMC. Although he’s not as beloved, he’s technically been in the show since the pilot, and there’s only so long that they can keep a pacifist character alive before it starts to get annoying (if it hasn’t already). C’mon kid, you’re blowing it for everyone. This is where those who don’t want to be spoiled about what could happen based on the trajectory of the graphic novels should stop reading now. The mental damage caused by the eye wound goes way beyond the physical wound. “It was only a prosthetic over my eye when Rick was bringing Carl into infirmary”. Negan even attempts to turn Carl into his second-in-command, even further damaging Carl’s relationship with his father.
Fans will soon be thrust back into the post-apocalyptic zombie mayhem that is The Walking Dead. What challenges will Carl have to overcome going forward?
“Negan’s not going to have a Penny”.
