Snapdeal employee case: Someone close plotted Deepti Sarna’s abduction, says Police

According to reports, police called it a “one-sided” love by the plotter which led to the execution of the abduction. He was supposed to pick up Dipti from the spot he was waiting at, like he did every evening, after she returned from her office in Gurgaon.

All five are from Haryana, the police say, and the man who plotted the kidnapping was identified as Devendra, who had escaped from jail in Kurukshetra.

Sources added that Devender was inspired by Shah Rukh Khan’s psychopath character in the movie Darr. The prime accused just like a psycho and lived in a virtual reality. The auto driver was allegedly among the kidnappers.

When the train reached Narela railway station, she asked one of the co-passenger (a senior citizen)to make a callto her parents from his mobile phone.

Deepti Sarna narrated her ordeal to the police during questioning, where she said that the auto which she boarded from Vaishali Metro station had made a halt near Sahibabad village due to some snag, Senior superintendent of police Dharmendra Singh said. She was in a dazed and exhausted state but unharmed, the police said. She also said the kidnappers gave her food and took care of her.

The courtesy extended to her during captivity seems to be puzzling police.

Police stated they have been wanting into the lady government’s private life and buddies circle.

A press conference will take place at 1 pm to reveal the details of Dipti’s kidnapping and those accused.

Dipti said that she was driven around in an i10 vehicle and also made to walk long distances, made to sit in a sugarcane field before finally being released at a suburban railway station, and put on a Delhi-bound train, handing her a 100-rupee note.
