The First Six Minutes Of The Walking Dead: Michonne Are Pretty Compelling
Telltale Games has released and extended preview of The Walking Dead: Michonne, a miniseries spinning out of their critically acclaimed The Walking Dead episodic game series. Tonally, it lines up with the rest of the series, but she’s more formidable than Lee or Clem, clearly.
The developer of the video game has revealed some details about the title including the lead character Michonne. Played by Samira Wiley of Orange Is the New Black, it will be a closer look at what makes the sword-wielding character tick and hints at exploring more of Michonne’s past. A signal for help brings them to a scene of a massacre and towards a floating colony called Monroe, which seems to be harbouring the person responsible for the horror. The episode will be available across PlayStation and Xbox devices, and on PC and Mac. Episodes two and three, Give no shelter and What we deserve, will release in March and April respectively. Michonne is haunted to the point of hallucination in this opening, yet still deadly with her signature machete. Check out the Trailer here!
In the past few years, Telltale Games have made quite a name for themselves making spin-off games for popular franchises, from Tales from the Borderlands to Minecraft: Story Mode, and of course the series that started it all, The Walking Dead.
The Walking Dead: Michonne also serves as a combination of bridge and filler for The Walking Dead: Season 3. My kids and Family come first, then my books!
