Deadpool collections are being viewed with the greatest incredulity as it has emerged as the No. 2 movie over the weekend behind Sanam Re while Fitoor, spectacularly, has been pushed to third.
It remains to be seen how much of this growth is due to Valentine’s Day and how much is real value.
The film is based on Marvel comic book superhero Deadpool, played by Reynolds, who recovers from surgery to find he has woken up with some bad side effects, and also superhero powers.
Eventually, the film ended up making an opening weekend business of just about 14.11 crores at the Box Office.
The film has only brought in around Rs 7 crore in a matter of two days (Friday and Saturday), DNA India reported.
So when you compare the first weekend business of both films, Sanam Re is leading the race.
