Birdman on Lil Wayne: ‘He means the world to me’
The fierce battle that has erupted between Lil Wayne and his former mentor Birdman becomes more fraught with each headline. We have heard a lot from Lil Wayne on the matter, but Birdman has kept largely silent, especially since the issue has gone to court.
During a recent interview with Power 105.1’s Angie Martinez, the hip-hop mogul FINALLY spoke about his bitter ongoing feud with the YMCMB superstar.
“Nicki and Drake ain’t goin’ nowhere, regardless”, Birdman flatly answered.
For the first time, Birdman actually opens up about how hearing Weezy say all of the negative things about him.
The timeline in the indictment doesn’t specify whether police based their assertions on PeeWee Roscoe’s phone records or Birdman’s, so it’s hard to say right now whether his alibi holds up. “You never thought Mula would be saying nothing negative about me ever, in no lifetime”, he said. Sh*t f***ed my day up. So my question would be to myself is do I just ride it out? He means the world to me. So [when he said] something negative about me that affected my life.
