Early voting for March primary begins Tuesday
Residents will have fewer days to vote early this year compared to 2012.
You can cast your ballot at any early voting location in the county where you’re registered.
The primary election is March 15.
It is the first day early voters may cast ballots for the March 15 primary. There also are 465 local issues on the ballot in 82 counties across the state.
There are eight presidential candidates on the Democratic ballot and 13 on the Republican side, which also includes an “Uncommitted” option.
Sample ballots for specific voting precincts can be found at the Comal County elections webpage, votecomal.com. Early voting for the primary election begins Tuesday, Feb. 16, and all registered voters are eligible to vote early.
A driver’s license, election ID certificate, or concealed handgun license are just some of types of ID you can use to vote. “But clearly it is”, Webb said.
When Election Day arrives on March 1, you’ll have to vote at your specific polling place for your precinct.
