Police open criminal investigation into Johnny Manziel

With all of the trouble Johnny Manziel has found himself in over the past few weeks, headlined with the domestic violence investigation surrounding Manziel, there haven’t been many people around to offer help.

As there are many emotional factors involved, it is not uncommon for a victim of domestic violence to question or delay reporting an assault. The statement listed the Cleveland Browns quarterback as the suspect and said detectives would investigate and determine whether criminal charges were warranted. In addition to the protective order, WTAA-TV reported the Tarrant County judge ordered Manziel to pay $12,000 in legal fees associated with the case.

Manziel and Crowley then left the hotel after he struck her and drove to the latter’s apartment in Fort Worth. While there, Manziel is believed to have hit Crowley several times before forcing her into a vehicle and telling her to, “shut up or I’ll kill us both”.

Crowley’s attorney, Katherine Kinser, did not immediately return a phone call. However, Dallas police said Friday they have reopened the investigation.

Might not be so easy for the 23-year-old star in a tailspin. “He was brokenhearted, so I took my clothes off and went out there, and got the dove for him”.
