Maryland governor fights cancer with humor
A little more than a month after announcing he has non-Hodgkins lymphoma, Gov. Larry Hogan went public with a new development in his battle against cancer: He has lost his hair. Hogan wrote in a post on his Facebook page.
Hogan just recently finished his second round of chemotherapy at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore for B-cell non-Hodgkins lymphoma.
Clark says the association plans to meet with Hogan and his team soon to map out a direction for the committee.
“It looks like there is another white dome in the Annapolis State House!” he said.
This is Hogan’s first national appointment since his election in November. “The First Lady says I’m still sexy”.
Gov. Hogan previously posted photos with his family wearing the armbands associated with his cause.
The post and photo are the latest update on the governor’s condition. At the time, he said doctors had told him that his prognosis was good but that he was likely to lose his hair.
Larry Hogan remained upbeat as he passed a milestone in his battle with cancer – the loss of his hair.
