PS4 Exclusive Knack May Be Getting a Sequel

At least according to Mindy Liang, a 3D Animator working for XPEC Entertainment who listed the game on her LinkedIn bio (spotted by the eagle-eyed members of NeoGAF).

This leak might be an indication that the PS4 launch title is finally receiving a sequel in the near future. However, it could be that the game was only in the prototyping stage and never received the approval for release.

So it’s entirely possible XPEC are providing assistance to Knack’s main team at Sony Japan Studio. Knack 2 might be in development to help fill that void.

In addition, they had worked on the PlayStation 4 version of the long-in-development Final Fantasy XV. It’s always been treated as a more family-oriented deal that parents could play with their kids, perhaps as a way of excusing shelling out for a new PS4 at launch. Very little is known about the game till now, but here are a few things fans should know about Knack 2.
